Mission
When we started Drakkar there was a very clear goal in our minds: we wanted to make paddling fascinating for both professionals and beginners . Trivial as it may sound at first glance, this idea made us come up with the completely new approach towards kayak making. The outcome of the brainstorm we had was two-pronged: our kayaks' simplicity that would suit beginners must meet the challenge of professionals.
At this point the design team started their work. Their efforts brought to life the prototype of our first kayak. It was a perfect quintessence of our ideas… We did our best to combine the quality of materials with the latest technology. It took months of tests before the kayak was shown to public. The results, however, were all worth the efforts.
We aim at sharing the excitement we find in designing new kayaks with paddlers all over the world.
