The Drakkar saddle is simple and effective. Solid fiber construction is easy to install on any kayak will suit as basis for many different outfitting styles and ideas. It gives great hull support and suits open canoes as well as decked designs. The design uses saddle base and aluminium bars to keep it in place. Support places for foam pillars are build in. There is a special outside knee wedge to provide outside support if needed. In case wedge is not needed it is easy to take bolt off.
The straight sides of saddle are great for adding additional footbraces to your outfitting.
The fiber is easy to modify, drill, and most importantly glue on. You can also laminate slalom kneecups on it. The foam kit is delivered with saddle and features high quality ,soft, comfly, long life, non scratch thermoformed foams.
